Dr. Debra Cannon

Dr. Debby Cannon, Director of the School of Hospitality in the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University has 30+ years of experience in the hospitality industry.  Her background is in human resources management with Hyatt Hotels and Ritz-Carlton Hotels along with a PhD degree from Georgia State in Human Resources Development.  On the faculty since 1991 and director of the school since 2001, Dr. Cannon works with millennials daily as well as industry representatives and leaders from all generations.  She is on the Executive Board of the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau as well as the Board of Directors for the Georgia Hotel & Lodging Association and on the Master in Club Management Academic Council.
