Popular ways to build great relationships in Atlanta

In 2007, the Atlanta CEO Council joined forces with the Metro Atlanta Chamber and Technology Association of Georgia to create Venture Atlanta. With a shared goal of bringing a premier venture capital event to the state of Georgia, together our organizations have helped the annual event grow from a few hundred attendees and only 20 funds to more than 900 attendees and 125 funds. The Venture Atlanta network and events have led to $2 billion in funding raised and $14 billion in successful exits. These 3 organizations built an amazing platform for building fruitful business and personal relationships.

This year, Venture Atlanta marked its 10th annual conference, October 11 – 12, 2017 at the College Football Hall of Fame. The Southeast’s largest technology investment conference featured Shark Tank star Mark Cuban and Ernie Garcia, the CEO of Carvana, as keynote speakers and included the strongest and largest roster yet of 35 early and venture-stage companies.

Remaining 2017 Events

We’ve hosted many fantastic exclusive CEO only dinners this past year at some of Atlanta’s hottest restaurants- Two Urban Licks, Empire State South and 5Church to mention a few. Our monthly invitation-only dinner events are limited to 35 CEOs who run product or recurring revenue companies – an elite peer group ideal for networking and relationship building. In addition, we’ve hosted three CXO networking events, and will close the year out with a Holiday event supporting Year UP Atlanta on December 11th.  Rob Frowhein & David Zalik are 2 of the Atlanta unicorn CEOs in attendance amongst several diverse, later stage and public company CEOs. Please visit our website here to request an invitation to our events.  Stay tuned to hear about our new board of directors and Capital Connect program, exclusively for CEOs. Another way we continue to build meaningful relationships for the Atlanta CEO community.
